Last Skincare Update

My previous post was about my skin care routine. I’m posting an updated routine due to the season change. In the winter my skin gets really dry and a little pale. Face serums usually keep my skin hydrated, but during the cold season it’s not enough. I’m not quick to try new products on my face. I decided to purchase Clinique and Estee Lauder skin care for my new routine because I’m familiar with both brands.

I can’t go wrong with Clinique products. They are allergy free and great for sensitive skin. I wear this moisturizer during the day.

I just purchased this gift set yesterday. I’ve decided to only use it at night. I spent $100 on this. When it comes to taking care of my face, I don’t mind spending money.
This is currently all that i’m using as my winter skin care routine. If you take a look back at my previous post, you will see a big difference in the products that I used during the warm seasons. Lastly, I’m not here to tell anyone what to use. Everyone is different. What I use may not work for you. Do and feel what’s best for you.
I’m not here to tell you what I think you should use on your face or how to care for it. Everyone is different. I simply want to share the products that work for me. I do not follow a specific daily routine. All the products listed on this post, I don’t use on a daily basis.

These are all the products I use on my face. The brands listed are not all the brands I use; however I do use the Noxzema brand only. I have tried generic brands of this and it doesn’t work as good.
Use what works best on your face, don’t go by what other people use or by what I’m using, because everyone has different skin types. I just wanted to share what works for me. I don’t follow any specific skincare rules. I’m not a beauty expert and it took me a long time to find what works best for me. I will say every once in a while, I do treat myself to an expensive facial. Feel free to leave a comment about the products you use.

I ordered these hot leggings on Poshmark. They are sexy and fit great. I’m usually a size medium in leggings, but I ordered a large because mesh doesn’t have a lot of give and I have thick thighs. Dress it up with heels/boots or dress down with some cute sneakers.

This is an old show, but it’s so awesome! One of my favorites. I love the creativity.
I have sold my clothing to Plato’s Closet a few times and I got a decent amount of money back each time. Today I tried selling a ton of clothing with tags still attached only to be completely shocked. They wanted to buy 30 items of clothing for $83.00. I asked to see what they were wanting to take off my hands and I checked the receipt. I said to myself HELL NO! I had a free people dress new with the tag attached, retailed at $128 and they offered me $3.00! BCBG Belt for $36 and they offered me $1.20. I understand people need quick cash. I needed some serious cash today. The most they offered me on one item, was $4.00. The funny part is that the girls behind the counter put their names on some of the items they thought they were going to get for almost free. You should have seen the look on the girls faces after I declined the offer. They were wanting to get their hands on my name brand clothing for almost free. What I’m trying to say is, please don’t let Plato’s Closet pressure you into selling your clothes that you know are of good value (name brands and items new with tags). It seems to me that Plato’s is trying to get clothing for almost free like the Goodwill and make an almost 100% profit. If I would have agreed to the offer they gave me, Plato’s Closet definitely would have gotten a 100% profit. Today is the last day I step foot into a Plato’s Closet. I will not sell my clothing or buy from them, knowing that they are ripping people off. Ladies and Gentlemen, please think twice before selling your clothes to this store. If you are trying to sell name brand clothing or gently used clothing in almost new condition, write down how much you paid for each item and add up your total. For example: You bought a Kate Spade Handbag for $120 and it’s in excellent condition. You decide to take it to Plato’s Closet and they offer you $20. Would you take $20 knowing you paid a lot more? I saw a Michael Kors handbag in great condition being sold for $30. So imagine how cheap Plato’s Closet got it off the seller. I hope this post will be of great help to many of you and please pass the information to friends and relatives.

I purchased from Rihanna’s makeup collection for the first time. I went to my local Sephora and had a beauty consultant assist me in selecting the right foundation. I purchased the Hydrating Longwear Foundation for $35.00. I’m shade number 440 (medium brown). I usually wear maybelline fit foundation in shade 355, which I love as well. I have heard so many great things about Rihanna’s foundation line, I just had to try it. As I looked in the mirror while the beauty consultant was applying the foundation to my face, OMG! The color was a perfect match. You couldn’t tell I was wearing foundation and it felt light weight.

I purchased from Kylie Cosmetics for the first time. Kylie’s eyeshadow palette, “You’re So Money” is very beautiful and well packaged. This immediately caught my attention and I purchased it within the first hour of Kylie’s 22nd birthday launch. This is my own opinion. I really like it. The colors are bold and beautiful. The palette has 16 colors and costs $48.00. If you can’t afford to pay $48 straight out, fear not. Kylie Cosmetics offers “afterpay”, a payment plan. You would pay 4 interest free installments of $12.00. Please check out the pictures below.
